We are planning to apply for maintenance and change arrangement now child is older. Has anyone done this through the courts without legal representation? We have benefit book and majority parent status but need to set a trust fund up and list guardians etc...Any advice for or against IYO.

This is not a do it yourself type of project spend sum money on an attorney who practises family law it will be worth your effort in the long run.

Doing it correctly is so much easier than wondering whether or not you did it properly.

If you use the Internet there are many free programs for set up of a trust fund. Down load the forms and completed them, it would be better to have it witnessed and notarized by a notary public.

I would rather be safe than sorry but I am cautious by nature
