Being abused at work experience?

Im 15 years old and in my second week of work experience. Last week, I worked at a different placement and it was great, I got to talk with patients, book them appointments as well as doing some office work such as scanning, attatching and shredding. This week, I'm at a new placement and its like HELL on earth! I have to work 9 to 5pm constantly photocopying massive files containing loads of paper. Each of them is huge, the size of 3 Harry Potter books stacked on top of each other. Its at a solicitors firm but Im sure theres gotta be SOMETHING else I can do other than photocopy?? Ive been told to carry on with the stack that I didnt finish today, tomorrow and theres loads more that I still have to do. Am I being abused? I was told I was going to work experience to learn, not to actually work. Im not even getting paid for it..
If I am being abused, what should I do? Ive already told my parents but they didnt seem to be bothered about it. Im so tired and I barely have any time outside of work.

Welcome to the real world.
Are you being abused, absolutely not.
Does your job suck, absolutely.

Since you are not getting paid, if you don't like the job, leave.

If your "work experience" program is something arranged through your school, start by talking to your program director. Programs such as yours are supposed to give you an idea of that type of work, not make you do slave labor.

It is true that many real-world entry-level jobs aren't very interesting, but in this special program, you should be allowed to sample the entire environment, not be shut away in the copying room.

When you talk to your director, offer suggestions about how this particular work placement could be improved. Don't just complain.
