He has given me a WINNING NUMBER, BATCH NUMBER, LOTTO NUMBER.

part of his letter : Remember that your fund is under insurance bond for security reasons because we have encountered some problem with one of the winning from Oman which one of her banker's in her bank wanted to credit her winning fund into his account, since when we have this problem every winning fund is insured so that no person/persons will have no right to tamper with the total fund until the authorized bank make the final transfer.

Attached here is your winner-ship certificate, affidavit of claim from court here in London and also 2 bank application forms that you have to fill and send it back to me with the bank approval fee of £850 pounds to enable the lawyer submit your file to the bank immediately for the transfer of your winning prize money.

" send it back to me with the bank approval fee of £850 pounds "

It's a scam! Stay away.

Please use your brain. Why would someone need a bank approval fee to open an account? A better question is why would someone just give you 850000?

The old maxim to remember is this...If it sounds to good to be true, it is. This is a Nigerian scam as old as the hills. The rule of thumb is, never give anyone your bank acct. number.

Google this kind of scam and you will see what I mean. I once read about a guy that complied with such a scammer. Before they were done with him, he was broke and divorced. To top it off, the victim was a University professor.

We all want to believe, but life doesn't work that way.
