i'm a MBA foreign student who tried to renew a student visa.Home Office refused to extend my visa because they've calculated from my pay slips that i worked 20.5hrs as opposed to the stipulated 20hrs.The case has been to appeal court, where the judge upheld the Home Office's decision.

The case went to the High court & they referred the case back to the lower court.I used a solicitor when i went to the Appeals court but represented myself at the High court because i couldn't afford the legal fees.

I'm due to attend a hearing at the appeals court in 3 weeks time.Ideally i would like representation from a solicitor, but in the worst case,i'll represent myself.

So does anyone know of an organisation that assists foreign students in court cases or solicitors willing to assist me on a "pro bono" basis?Or does anyone know whether i'm eligible for legal aid?

Check with the university you are attending. If you have access to the internet investigate there.
