Hi thanks for reading.
I filed a case back in 2009 , in pursuit of a loan owed to me. My lawyer nice little man as he appeared (and maybe still is , i dont know whats happened).
Told me he was confident, that the case was strong and that the person would not be able to dispute anything.
He convinced me to pay a fixed fee.I also paid all the necessary court fees as well.
After 3 months, he rang me to say sorry its taken long to get the case to start, that he has been overwhelmed with cases and that he would get onto first doing a check of the fake address given to me by the person and then get on to the private investigator to find out where person is.based. I was uneasy when he said, if worst comes to worse, i'll send a letter to his HR department at his company of work? Dont documents only get sent to residential addresses?
I waited to hear from him and wrote to him and called him...but got no response.
if he gives up on the case-he should be telling his client first surely?-or can lawyers just ignore you -and avoid you to show that they've given up on your case.?
Thanks would be really grateful for some honest advice.
Answer by JESUS IS GOD
"Even now," declares the LORD,
"return to me with all your heart,
with fasting and weeping and mourning."
Rend your heart and not your garments.
Return to the LORD your God,
for he is gracious and compassionate,
slow to anger and abounding in love,
and he relents from sending calamity.
