Im askin this becus my boyfriend has turned down three offers and i convienced him to take the offer 7 mths but his court date is not til january. Do u think the court appointed attorney set his court for trial? Anf if he did can he still try and take the 7 mths they offered him? Cus we dont want the jury to give him more time.. The judge with the nudging of the prosecutor probably set the trial date.
Unless the prosecutor has an airtight case the plea bargain deal is probably still available.
These are things your boyfriend should be asking his lawyer.
