my insurance company is judging my injury treatment by the amount of damage on my car "just because The amount of damage was around $ 500 with OEM Parts "after market" the hint im getting is the higher the amount of damage the more injury treatment im gonna need? or this is a some sort of b/s game from my insurance company?
Answer by say it again
this is normal, insurance companies look at the amount of damage and how severe the injuries are everyday as a matter of exploring the accident. Back in the early 90s, there were organized groups in the Los Angeles area mostly. They would stage a car crash at an intersection, often times, a hit and run, but one guy would hammer another car, then speed off, and 2 to 4 people would get out of another car, and climb in the damaged one and wait for the police to arrive, and seem to have far more severe injuries than a fender bender warranted. Insurance companies went so far as to create a black computer (thats what I call it) ANYBODY, WHO HAS EVER FILED AN INSURANCE CLAIM FOR ANY REASON someone can type in the name and birthdate ans social security number. and find out instantly if that person has ever filed a claim for ANYTHING insurance related.
dont worry about it, if you were injured, you need to go to the doctor and do what the doctor said. He is the medical expert. not some paranoid insurance agent ok? hang in there, heal up, get better, go back to work.

In the USA, They tend to do that but nothing is written in stone and there are always exceptions. If you feel you are being treated unfairly you can always file a complaint with your states insurance commissioner or you can hire a lawyer.
You "need" the amount of medical care that you "need" and no insurance company can tell you (or your Doctor) what you "need".

Insurance companies know more about accident damage and related injuries and their treatment then you will ever know. It's their business. And their business plan is to make money not pay it out.
They spend big dollars on studies of accidents and what happens to the people inside them, they have teams of people who specialize in nothing but accident injuries and treatments.
If you have a low dollar vehicle claim, and med bills start to climb it sets off all kinds of fraud alarms.
They know there are shady clients and doctors. And they have the resources to verify your injuries and what treatments are given. And yes they can have you see one of their doctors to verify what is being claimed.
And yes it's pure physics, the larger the damage to the vehicle the larger the chance of injury and also the higher chance of more serious injury.Simple velocity.
Think about it. You bump a parked car, now hit a pole at 55mph, which one do you think has the better chance of injury and which one is going to have more serious injuries.
