It all depends on what school you went to , what kind of grades you obtained, and your extra curricular activities. Big Firms usually only take top students from top tier Law Schools but the Government is not as picky. Big Firms pay more but require more(usually 60 hour+ weeks), Government jobs are usually less structured and demanding but less. Good Luck
