I'm currently in first year of 6th form/college and I know I definitely want to go into law but I am confused whether I should take Law at uni or something else like History or English. I think I would rather take straight Law as I have found out otherwise taking conversion courses costs tooo much!!! But then again apparently a non-Law degree will set you apart from the rest. But my logic is if I manage to do extracurricular and get lots of work experience I should be fine to take Law.
HELP ME PLZZ, different people are telling me different things.....make sense of this confusion :))

I would recommended talking with a counselor at your university that you may plan on attending and ask them this question. The reason you may ask? They have the most relevant information that will have the least amount of error in what they say. I would recommend just giving the school a call on Monday (or when ever the counselor's office is open) and schedule an appointment. Most lawyers go into law school with a major in English, as how often they have to write and submit documents to the court, but since you want to be a corporate solicitor, the job descriptions may be a little different. Again I recommend contacting a counselor regarding this. Also, if you know of any job postings, you could research what they are generally wanting in an applicant, and this could also help you make a determination. Best of luck.
