A few months ago i had a car accident which wasn't my fault. As there were no witnesses that stopped it still hasn'tt been provedwho'ss fault it is.
I suffered from whiplash from the accident whichwasn'tt severe but still was painful. After mentioning this to my insurance company their solicitors contacted me to arrange a claim from experiencing whiplash from this accident, how much am i likely to get if i go ahead with this claim?

what the insuranced company looks at are how much the medical bills total up, so once your doctor releases you from treatment such as if he has ordered chiropractic or physical therapy, once your doctor releases you, then the insurance company will asess the situation and decide what to offer.was your vehicle fixed at this point? are there likely to be any permanent injuries? these are important questions, are you still in pain, and has the doctor signed off so you can go to work? all of these things get considered. bast of luck, you did not provide any of the information we needed to even make a guess.

for one thing it does need to be proven who was at fault , did you not get a copy of the police report? if not then go to the police department and ask for a copy its about 5 dollars, now it all depends on what kind of insurance coverage you had and the other driver, and make sure you are clear of all doctors and such , now your insurance should be taking care of all this for you so they will be the one to let you know the settlement and if you dont think its enough then you can take it to small claims court for 6000 dollars good luck

LOL I love how your just concerned about $ $ $ .

It's whiplash.. you'll be fine. You didn't win the lottery.

If they accept liability, you will get your medical bills paid less 40% (which is what the solicitors will take)

If you were permenantly injured (which your not- whiplash is a soft tissue injury that heals) you may be entitled to additional compensation.

Lawyers will promise you the world and make you overtreat for injuries you don't really have because they want to take their 40% and make the big bucks. If you only have whiplash, I would suggest you be a good person and just request your medical bills and any wages you lost are paid back.

You may get a little, you may get a lot, you may get nothing. Each case is unique and there is no "chart of benefits". No one here has the slightest idea of what you may get, if anything. I can tell you that it is not going to make you wealthy. Whiplash claims are a dime a dozen and usually pay about that.

Millions, if the TV adverts are anything to go by!

If a female can get £250,000 for 'hurt feelings' because her boss said she was fat, you should have no trouble buying a villa in Bermuda before long!
