40 black kids and 50 white kids tryed out for the school basketball team and in the tryouts it looked obvious by many bystanders that most of the black people were much better than most of the white did and there was also a brand new coach, so we have no idea who he is. the list of people who made the team were on the wall. the people went to see who won and the black kids noticed that no black people made the team. they made a coart case against the coach, principal, and the board of education. Any tips on how to win?

Have them call the NAACP--they will be able to advise them and get them a lawyer if there is a case. Yes, on the surface looks suspicious.

literally -- play a match of the "team" against some of the black kids that should have made the team and didn't, sadly this sounds like a case of discrimination. really though they say - the proof is in the pudding!

you may win a case against the COACH, but not his choice of players.
that's freedom on individual preference.
problem is we can't go on suing everybody evrytime every opportunity regarding racial discrimination.
we have to move on.
if he prefers white kids, then what seems to be the problem? the problem is, if he got a poor choice of recruiting skills then he will have a losing season, right?

Also speculate what their grades are besides race being the only factor.
The question cant have a definite answer because the people in YA do not know what was used to determine who qualified and who didn't.

Just had to say that, I hate that guy.
Seriously, your case looks pretty clear to me, and unless you are in a very white, very racist area, this would probably be settled long before a trial would happen. The publicity alone will bring them to the table. I would recommend that you get the boys who were not selected, and have them play some hoops, and film it of course.
And for an even better example, get the guys again who were not accepted, organize a team, and challenge the school to a game, if they can beat your players, which I doubt, they would have a case. If your guys win, on film of course, it would be a real open and shut case.
