I am wanting to start a career in claims adjustment and I have some experience in police science and private investigation. I know the basics about law, arson and car accidents based on experience from the classes I have taken in police science and P.I.. I need to know what it would take for me to get a job in this field.

Take out the yellow pages and call a few insurance companies. Requirements vary from state to state. Some companies will train you. Some states have courses you can take to become a claims adjuster.
