the buyers solicitor requested the search on the 19 of sept in Enfield and still not received but with all the post strikes im getting frustrated ,can they ask for it to be faxed or emailed

In the US they can be used of followed by original docs or you can email w/ digital signature. But I'm not sure if a search is the same thing here- search on the properties chain of title, easements etc to prove clear ownership? Title work can be faxed. Or how about a delivery service?
