i was involved in a road traffic accident that involved just myself (passenger seat) and a friend (driver). The driver lost control of the car going around 70 on the A1. Eyewitnesses claimed it hit the bank at side of road and continued to roll 6 times and hit a tree, finally landing on its roof. I suffered whiplash and had to have 4 days in hospital and 2 operations under general aneasthetic on my left forearm and elbow, resulting in one to remove glass and the second to stich 3 wounds up. in excess of 15 stitches. Various bumps and bruises but the arm, whiplash and post traumatic stress are the worst of it. I am looking for anyone that has soliciting experience or anyone that has seeked similar advice to give me a rough estimate as to how much i can expect in compensation. I am asking here instead of a claim organisation as they will need me to commit before they can start putting in time to give me an estimate.

by the way, im from UK. and the driver was insured.

Tally up your medical bills. That would probably be all you would get minus the 33.3% the attorney is going to ask for if you are going to do this properly. Without an attorney, they are going to try to settle for just your medical bills. If you are trying to get compensation for other things, you will need an attorney.
