I am a single woman moving to Morocco - I haven't decided which town I want to be based in - either Rabat, Tangier or Casablanca. I will be looking to buy an apartment and start a business in Beauty Therapy. I have been warned that there are a lot of scams and dishonest people and I am a little concerned seeing as I don't know anyone there, and don't know who to trust. I am appealing to those who have already made the transition to morocco and who have gone through the process of buying real estate and/or starting a business over there.I would really appreciate it if someone has had dealings with business lawyers/solicitors and real estate agents in Morocco and have been pleased with the results, please PM me with their contact details!! Rabat is probably safer because of the king. and it is beautiful . You should join road2morocco in yahoo groups to ask these questions. You dont know if the contacts you get on here will be scammers. People in that group have been there or know the people and alot of them are american. Good luck.
