i have been awarded compensation which i strongly feel that my solicitors ripping me off and think im entitled to more.
how can i find out what the insurance company has offered without going through the solicitor? they wont share this information with me
the policy is 100% compensation to the injured party but feel that i hae been awarded moe with my injuries but are offering very low. all seems bit funny ???

You have to ask them. That information is protected by the privacy laws.
Additionally, if the person didn't allow their car insurance to defend the lawsuit, it violates the policy conditions, and their insurance doesn't have to pay.
Once you have a solicitor, their insurance CANNOT talk to you directly. You can ONLY go through your solicitor. But if it's YOUR solicitor, and they won't tell you about the offer, then fire them. THEN you can talk to the other insurance directly.
The other insurance will NEVER offer more, than the policy limits. If the other person had low coverage, you're not going to GET more than that, as an offer.
